There are different types of family law cases, and each one is unique because every family and situation is different. Kaitlin tailors her services to best fit your family and your case. Some of the most common cases are detailed below:
Divorce can cover a variety of topics including property division, child custody, child support, and alimony. Whether you and the other party can't agree on anything or you are amenable to figuring things out together, having an attorney at your back protects your future.
When unmarried parents separate and have to figure out child custody and placement, the first step is establishing paternity. Then, they determine who can make decisions for the children and where they live day-to-day. Kaitlin knows the impact these decisions have, so she is ready to fight for your family to get the future you want and deserve.
Two years after the last custody and placement order or if a substantial change occurs, orders can be modified. Or, when someone is not following the orders to enough of a degree, you can file to enforce them. Orders are rarely perfect, and families change with time. Kaitlin knows the intricacies of these cases and can tell you when the court is most likely to rule in your favor.
